This is the last day of this year, and we had time playing (Hand and Foot) we have not played that for some time. I had to get my mind fixed on the game as I can see that it is better that I play these things once in a while as my mind is not so sharp anymore. But it was fun to play it today. We are waiting for count down for the New Year, I think I will be able to stay awake. Alden and I were the winners of (Hand and Foot).
This was another cold morning, so I turned the heater on as I don't like to get dressed when it is cold. After getting dressed I had some time in my recliner and at 9:30am I went to have my breakfast and daily pills. This was the day that Pam came to help me with my shower. I tried to check my computer but my keyboard was dead so I could not do much on the computer, but I could do games and puzzles. Alden was busy doing so many things, so I didn't bother him until late afternoon and it just took him a couple minutes to fix it.
I was up early this morning, and the weather is cold. After getting dressed I rested in my recliner until 9:30am then I went to get my breakfast which was oatmeal with raisins and banana and take my daily pills. Alden put my socks on. Alden has been very busy today; he took the outside Christmas lights down. This afternoon Alden trimmed my toenails which included preparing for me to soak my feet and all the things that had to be done in this process. The evening meal was left over chicken, vegies, mashed potato and peakon pie.
I was up early this morning, I had a rest in my recliner and at 9:30am I went for my breakfast which was oatmeal with raisins and banana and I took my daily pills. Alden put my socks on then I went to my room and I checked my computer and did some computer games and puzzles. I waited for Alden to get me to go to Costco to get gas and then we went to Jimmy's for lunch, I got the chicken dinner and we had a big leftover to bring home, so I had some of that for my evening dinner. I think I have been eating too much lately so I will try to cut down.
There is not much to write about for today as things seem to get less activity around here. I did my daily activity such as computer things and of course my afternoon nap and also having my meals. I make sure that I get my daily medication when needed. I do enjoy watching Emma and Joanna.
This is Christmas Eve. Hailey, Matt and family will be leaving this evening to go back to their home on the east coast. Today has been a busy day for the kids playing before they leave. Alden is busy taking people to the airport for their travels. I spent time watching the children's activity before they leave. We will miss them all.
We received some rain and most of the family stayed in the house. Hailey's family will be getting ready to leave tomorrow. It will seem quite around here. We have had a lot of people staying here lately but I think it will seem very quiet now. We have to just remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Keep reading the Bible and never stop praying. I thank God for the many years he has been with me.
