Church day

 Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Church was three services on the TV.. Lunch was KFC leftovers. Bible reading and prayer time. Computer stuff and games on the computer. Read some of Decision. Evening meal was Panda Express left over. 

 

Frig full of leftovers

This morning I made oat meal with raisins and banana for breakfast. Last night I didn't have to go to my recliner in the middle of the night. I did some house cleaning of my office area. Morning spent Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was KFC. No afternoon snack. I had a afternoon nap. Evening meal was left overs. Viewed Lawrence Welk program it was a black and white show.

 

SKYPE with Alan

 Alan called to SKYPE and that was a over hour time and it is so great   He was telling me about his medical problem and it seems like it is about the same problem that I have. His is a herniated disc and that is what mine is from e-rays. So Alan showed me the exercise that he is doing which I will try. I will have the MRI on the 19th of Feb. Well today Chad came at noon with KFC and he showed us some pictures of what he has done on his property. We had rain off and on all day.

SDGE to shut down

This morning we prepared for the shut down but it never happened. Breakfast was cold cereal with banana. Bible reading time.  At 10:00 am Alden and Jeff arrived with a box of donuts which we had some. We played hand and foot until noon. Alden ordered Panda Express and he picked it up, then we feasted on Chinese food. Then we finished our Hand and Foot game and Ethel and Alden were the winners. Alden and Jeff left about 3:00 pm, I had a short nap and got things on line.  Evening meal was yogurt. Then news, game shows and Sudoku.

Not much today

 Breakfast was cold cereal with banana. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was chicken soup and two fig cookies. Nap and yogurt with blueberries. Getting ready to add 2019 and 2020 pictures on a DVD. Evening meal was grilled ham and cheese sandwich. News and game shows and Sudoku games. 

Still cold no rain

Last night I left the heater at 72 deg. all night and I will leave it that way tonight. Breakfast was oat meal with raisins and banana. There was a call coming in at 7:00 am, sure wish I could cancel all these TV calls. Thursday SDGE will have our service off for 6 hours I hope it will not be too cold. I wish Denny's would be open inside so we could spend some time at Denny's. But Nusiance still has restaurants closed. Lunch was a vegetable soup and two fig cookies. Bible reading and prayer time. Evening meal was grilled cheese sandwich wit coleslaw and tomatoes. News and game shows while doing sudoku games.

 

BURR it is cold and windy

Yes cold and windy all day. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. I received a message from OPM to update my account which I took care of. Lunch was ravioli, spinach, broccoli topped with white sauce and two fig cookies. Afternoon snack was peach yogurt.  Checking 2019 and 2020 pictures  to copy. I made a appointment for my MRI which will be Feb. 19 at 7:30 am check in at 7:00. Evening meal was soup and crackers. Then news and game shows and doing Sudoku games. Rain on windows tonight.

Church Day

I went to the kitchen and there were ants all over the floor. Trying to make breakfast and stepping over all areas where I sprayed. I made cream of wheat with raisins and banana for breakfast.  Ethel came to help with the mess. After breakfast Ethel went to the laundry shop to get the "Home Defence  spray." She sprayed her bathroom and the kitchen and dining area. No ants in my bathroom yet. Then we viewed two church services. Lunch was sweet potato, broccoli, fish and coleslaw. Last night I had to go to my recliner at 3:00 am and I slept until 7:00 there. We didn't get rain today. Evening meal was peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

  

Rain, Rain, Rain

 Yes we got the rain. Breakfast was cold cereal with banana. Results of knee X-ray was no problem so now it maybe a back problem and after checking the MIR of 2016 with the advanced arthritis I might have a MIR now. Lunch was baked potato, carrots and chicken. Alden shopped at Cost-co today and he left the wheelchair here for my next trip to the doctor. Evening meal was poached egg on toast. News, Lawrence Welk and game shows. Praying for Taiwan and all of you over there.

 

Dr. appointment

 Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. We viewed two church services which we missed Sunday. They were Jack Graham and Charles Stanley. Lunch was ravioli with broccoli, spinach and white sauce. Alden came at 1:30 to take me to my Dr. appointment. He had Josh's wheel chair and I was SO GLAD he went with me as my hearing is so bad that I didn't get everything. We went to get X-rays and some lab tests. After the X-ray results I will have to go back for a shot in my knee. After that we will see what will be next. The Dr. signed the pink paper foe No resuscitation which is in my folder on the refrigerator. Evening meal was soup. Then it was news and game shows and Sudoku games.

All brownies are gone

Breakfast was oat meal. Computer things. I put another Lasagna in the oven as Alden, McKenna and Jeff came for lunch. And yes we did eat all the brownies. We played Hand and Foot. It was Alden and Jeff against McKenna and myself. Well we were the winners. They left about 4:00 pm. So our evening meal was crackers, cheese and salami. Then it was news and game shows.

  

Making brownies

 Breakfast was cold cereal. Spend to much time viewing the inauguration. I made coleslaw, fish sticks, sweet potato and lentils for lunch. I was going to bake a cake for Alden's Birthday. Bad news, no cake mix all I had was brownie mix and no vegetable oil so I used butter and olive oil, then I had no pan the right size to bake it in. Well I put the batter on half of a pan to bake. I have two more mixes I will give to Alden as my time for baking is over. Evening meal was mini pizza. Then it was news and game shows and doing sudoku games.

Surprise NO rain

Yes rain was predicted. Breakfast was cold cereal. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was ravioli with spinach and white sauce. Games on computer. Snack time was pumpkin bread. Afternoon was computer games and news. Doing sudoku games while watching game shows. Queen Ester.

   

MLK holiday

Ethel's turn for laundry. Breakfast was cold cereal. Computer stuff. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was left over lasagna. A short nap. Snack was pumpkin bread which Gina made. Computer games. Evening meal was corned beef sandwich. News and game shows doing sudoku games while watching TV

Great day with Annie and Karl

 Breakfast was cold cereal. Viewed Robert Jefferies from Pathway to Victory message on The New Heaven. Next viewed David Jeremiah from Shadow Mountain S.D. message on Noah's Ark  Annie and Karl came about 12:15 and I had put the lasagna in the oven for lunch. Annie and Karl signed my medical papers. We had lunch and then we played Hand and Foot. Karl and I were the winners over Annie and Ethel. Gracie lounged on the couch while we played hand and foot.

 

A painfull night

Yes not much sleep last night. Breakfast was oat meal with raisins. Morning spent in my recliner with the heating pad on my left leg,  I dosed off . Lunch was vegetable soup and a piece of chicken. We played hand and foot. Annie called and they will be here Sunday about 11:00 am.  Evening meal was vegetable soup and two fig cookies. Viewed Lawrence Welk. I have my recliner set up in case I can't sleep in the bed.

Breakfast was cold cereal. Lunch was vegetable soup. Alden, McKenna and Josh picked me up at 4:00 pm to go for a get together with Keith and Vicky as they leave to go home until next year Holiday Season. Alden just now brought me home so that was a big day for me.

 

A warm day

Computer stuff and games. Evening meal was corned beef sandwich and a boiled egg. News and game shows. Doing sudoku games while watching TV things.

 

A great day

Thank God for another day. Breakfast was cold cereal. Reading and computer time I made rice pudding. Lunch was coleslaw which I made, fish sticks and broccoli two cookies. Afternoon was spent organizing things and cleaning in my room. Afternoon snack was rice pudding with whipped cream and hot chocolate with marsh mellows. Afternoon was computer games and a short nap. Evening meal was corned beef sandwich and chips. Then same old thing news and game shows.

A beautiful day

 It was cool to start but turned out great. Breakfast was cold cereal.  Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was spaghetti with meat balls and lentils. A walk with the walker. Computer time and computer games. Evening meal was spaghetti beat balls and lentils. News and wheel a fortune. Ken Jennings is taking over for Alex Trebek now.

 

Wash day

My turn to wash clothes. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Ethel made lunch which was chicken, sweet potato and broccoli. I called for a doctor appointment which will be Friday the 22nd. I will go over my medication and see if I can get some pain medication or maybe have a MRI., I had a MRI about six years ago and at that time it showed that I have advanced arthritis. Last night I slept quite well. I use the cane most of the time. Afternoon snack was salami and cheese. Evening meal was soup. Then it was news and game shows.

Church day

 Breakfast was cream of wheat with raisins and banana. We viewed four Church Services this morning. For lunch we had broccoli, spinach on ravioli with a white sauce. Afternoon snack was the last of the fruit cake. I had a great nap in the afternoon. Evening meal was poached egg on toast. Viewed the news , not much on TV.

A chilly day

 Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. I was up at 5:30 again and turned up the heater. When I get up so early I don't wait for Ethel for breakfast. She gets up at about 7:30 or 8:00. I did more reading. and prayer time. Lunch was fish tacos. Afternoon snack was fruit cake. I had a afternoon nap Evening meal was a small pizza. News and viewed Lawrence Welk show. Worked on Sudoku games.

This is Friday

 Breakfast was oat meal with raisins and banana. Reading Decision magazine. Lunch was left over spaghetti and meat balls. Update things for safe. Snack was fruit cake. Put away the few Christmas decorations. I went for a walk with the walker. Evening meal was soup and crackers. News and Sudoku, wheel a fortune.

Dr. Alden

 This morning when I turned up the heater Alden was sound asleep. Breakfast was cold cereal with banana. Alden went to Home depot for parts. He installed the plastic drainage pipe for the washer. He cleaned the wash room. Then he trimmed back the oleander bushes. I made rice and chop suey for lunch. We played hand and foot and Ethel was the winner. Alden trimmed the nails of my left foot as I cannot reach to do it and he massaged my foot and put lotion on and it really felt so good. Night meal was potato salad salami and cheese. Viewed news while doing Sudoku and wheel a fortune.

Alden my handyman

 Breakfast was waffle with blueberries. Reading and computer things. Alden came with groceries. We had spaghetti and meat balls for lunch. He checked the wash room which involved to remove things to get to the washer. He found out the cast iron drainage was all corroded so he had to go home to get tools to remove it. He is staying overnight so he can go to home depot to get parts and fix the problem. Today was a very black day in Washington D. C.

Water leak in shed

Breakfast was waffle with blueberries. Ethel did the washing today and she discovered we have a water leak which showed under the dryer. I called Alden and he is coming tomorrow to check it out and he will also do our grocery shopping. Lunch was potato salad, fish sticks, carrots and green beans. Our snack was a piece of Dianna's candy. Bible reading and computer games.

 

This is Monday

Breakfast was oat meal with raisins and banana. Dianne came with half of a fruit cake and some candy which she made. Lunch was chicken, potato, carrots and green beans. I had my bible reading and prayer time. Our afternoon snack was a slice of the fruit cake. I made a potato salad. I received two more Christmas presents, they are for McKenna and Matt. I still am waiting for three more to come. Evening meal was potato salad, cheese and lunch meat. Then it was news and wheel a fortune.

This is Sunday

Breakfast was cream of wheat with raisins and banana. We viewed four church services. Lunch was soup and we finished Gina's fudge. I finished Annie's tissue cover. Evening meal was tomato soup and cheese tortilla. Now Annie, Karl and Gracie can take a trip to see us. I need them to sign my papers for medical "no resuscitation ", play "hand and foot", have lunch together and get Annie's tissue cover. It would be nice if  Nuisense will only open up the restaurants, this time lunch is on me.

   

A beautiful day

 Breakfast was cream of wheat with raisins and banana. I went for a walk with the walker and I did a few things on the car, it seems good to have the car back. Paige bought a car but I haven't seen it yet. I am feeling better today. I did reading and puzzles. I had a watery soup. for lunch. Snack was a slice of Gina's pumpkin bread and evening meal was a small pizza. Watched Lawrence Welk program.

2021 NEW YEAR

May God be with us in this New Year. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Our annuity arrived plus $600.00 from the IRS. Even I still have not received the paper work on it. We had a very quiet day at home. I made a watery soup to settle my stomach for lunch also I had a small slice of Gina's pumpkin bread for snack and evening meal was poached egg on toast. I am feeling better today. I did puzzles while watching news and wheel of fortune. This is a puzzle which I did today on the computer.
