Overcast for several days

Last night we got home from the Income Tax late so I was to tired to blog. This morning I did not wake up until 9:00 am so I am sleeping better now as I am taking two Tylenol PM before I go to bed. Breakfast was oat meal with raisins and coffee.  Lunch was a green salad. Of course there was folding clothes. Then it was Bible reading. Gina will be coming home next week as April 7 McKenna will graduate from nurse training. Jeff is staying in Kansas until Gina returns then Jeff will come here for a couple days and he will return to Hawaii. Evening meal was mac. & cheese, salad and ice cream. Alden and I played Hand and Foot and Alden was the winner.

Interior decorator

Yes well breakfast was cinnamon toast and coffee. The name of the interior decorator is "Alden Alagata" First he did my room and from there he worked all over the house. I will show a few pictures. 

 

Not much rain yet

When I got to the kitchen Alden had already made a waffle for me. He is getting things done in the garage. He found my box of DVD's so I got them put away for Alan to check when he comes. I fixed up my family clock ready for Alden to hang and we found my ceramic fish and a few other things which I was looking for. We had a baked potato with all the trimmings and pulled pork and yogurt and cookies for desert tonight.

Sunday

Alden made waffles for breakfast, it was so good. I watched three church services this morning. Lunch was a green salad. It was a great day for a nap. I had a little walk in the back yard again. Evening meal was pulled pork sandwich which Alden made, he is a great cook. They have to cover things up outside now as we are to get rain again tonight.

 

What a beautiful day

 This morning I had toast, banana and raisins  for breakfast. Alden was working in the garage. I dusted my room and the hall and kitchen.  But I found several extension cords under my bed so I helped to get them put away in a large container. Then I went out in the back yard to sit in the sun. We had grilled cheese sandwich and soup for evening meal. Then I had a little amount of peanutbutter yogurt which Hailey got from the yogurt place where she works.

Weather is warm

After a morning shower I changed my bed sheets and took my laundry out for Alden to start the machine. Alden fixed a bowl of fresh fruit and cinnamon toast and coffee for us. Alden and Hailey went to 7-Oaks today to finish the clean up and bring the plants in the pots. I folded my laundry and checked over the expense of 16617 Orills Dr. I received a message from the tax man that we will discuss what should be done with the property.

 

Things done

Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. This seems what is my usual. Of course the usual is to go to the garage to see Socks. Alden unloaded the things from 7-Oaks which we brought back yesterday. I checked out what is available in this area on SCRIPPS and made a Dr. Appointment at SCRIPPS in Santee for April 15. Also I sent a list of things to ask the tax man. Lunch was a Bar-B-Q hot dog. I folded two loads of clothes and had a short nap evening meal was a burrito.

Went to 7-Oaks

It was hard for me to do much but I cleaned the inside and outside of the frig. dusted all blinds, cleaned counter tops of bathrooms and kitchen. I got down cobwebs. I guess Alden will go back Friday but I will not go as I cannot do much. We went to Denny's after working on my condo. Now I feel my age. Tom and his wife Karen greeted us and are very sorry that I have to leave. 

Nice to have Alden here

 This morning was cinnamon roll toast, banana and coffee. My medication came here today and misc. mail also came here. It is good to have things updated like mail. I made us sandwiches for lunch. Then we had a long afternoon nap. Alden did the evening cooking, it was burritos with all the trimmings. Oh Oh Alan wants to SKYPE. He fixed my computer again, as I was unable to print anything that I typed. and I forgot to finish my Blog last night so here it is.

Boys went gulfing

 Up at 8:30 and rest in my recliner until 9:30 as others are still not up. Only Paige leaves about 8:30. Alden went to gulf with the boys Andrew and Matt. I had cold cereal, banana and coffee for breakfast. My days are not very exciting. I spent several hours trying to print Microsoft Word documents and I still am not able to print these documents. The printer works great just to copy a document. Paige tried it also and it still doesn't work, and she made scalloped potatoes and green salad for dinner and it was GOOD.

Rain last night

 This morning for breakfast I had cold cereal banana and coffee. After getting my room in order I went to the family room and viewed three church services , it is so great to see these services at home. Then I went to greet Socks. Paige made sandwiches for lunch. The afternoon was spent with a nap and a few computer things. McKenna and Andrew came over to have time in the Jacuzzi with Paige. McKenna and Andrew are house sitting for about 10 days.. School has a two week break so Alden will be off for two weeks. Vicky is home for a week and is doing well. 

Game with Alden

 Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Helping Alden with unexpected things like a water leak under the kitchen sink and we don't know where it came from. People came over to play games in thee back and Paige made supper hamburgers with all the trimmings. After all that went on Alden and I played a game of hand and foot, we couldn't believe out of the five games I had a 2,000 book four times we were running close until the last game I really pulled out the winner. It has been a long time since we played.

This is a slow day

 This morning I got up about 8:30 and had breakfast about 9:30 it was cold cereal, banana and coffee. I went to my room and checked blogs and email. They all went to work ,Alden came home and went right to the jacuzzi, when he came in we decided to go to a Mexican restaurant and McKenna and Andrew joined us. 

 

A busy day

 This morning after taking a shower For breakfast it was cold cereal with banana and coffee. I went out to pet Socks and remove and fold a load of clothes from the dryer. Next was to put a load of my clothes in the washer. I washed the pots and pans and tidy up the kitchen counter .Lunch was a 1/2 bagel with cream cheese on it and left over cream style corn. I folded napkins and folded my clothes then I took a short nap. No time to do computer games. Alden did the evening cooking. Since they added one leaf to the table I had Paige stop at Jo-Ann's to get another plastic table cloth and they had the same kind that I purchased about 7 years ago for the table with no extension.

Hailey and Matt came today

Overcast this morning. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. Every one was at work today. For lunch I had a peaanutbutter and jelly sandwich,    At about 2:00 pm Hailey and Matt came I had Matt bring the clothes, 2 large baskets of clothes to fold and I left the folded clothes on my bed for them to pick up as  I didn't know  where to put them. They all had time in the jacuzzi. Paige made dinner again. Alden went to Wal-Mart, Bank and return  equipment. 

   

Nice to have Alden here

Breakfast was waffle and coffee. Alden exchanged the V blind from the garage and installed it in my west window so now both blinds are the same. Alden got the jacuzzi up and working and he used it two times today. He is getting the garage so he can get to the work bench now but we still have boxes to unload. Alden made the evening meal which was burritos and peaches for desert. I changed address and phone numbers at OPM.

Alone most of the day

 Every one is working. I stayed in bed until 9:00 then I had a shower and breakfast of cold cereal and coffee. at about 10:30 so that put lunch at 3:00pm. Then Alden came home and returned the AT%T equipment as we are now under COX. Next he started the Jacuzzi and I now hear it running but they are waiting to see if it warms up. Evening meal was baked potato with sour cream and all the fixings also I made a green salad.

Still unpacking boxes

Alden has done a lot today the garage is looking better. Breakfast was cold cereal. I viewed some church services and the bowling. Always there is time to pet Socks the kitty. Paige did the evening meal and I helped some. It was green salad which I did then she made rice, corn and mushrooms. Josh did the clean up. Then we watched a Hallmark movie.

Another busy day

 Alden made oatmeal for breakfast also he made coffee. Paige went shopping at Wal Mart. Hailey, Mat, MaKenna and Andrew came today. My project was to take all large pictures out of frames and the frames will go to Am Vet as there was two large boxes of just picture frames. But I saved all pictures. Some special picture I saved in the frames. Alden finished installing the things in the bathroom and he removed the things which we picked up from 7-Oaks. Alden is working in the garage right now.

Trip to 7-Oaks

Everyone went to work today and Alden came back about 2:00 and they put the big TV up then we left about 5:00 to go to 7-Oaks. Alden dropped me off at Marianna[she made chili and desert was lemon cake and strawberries. Alden went to the condo and loaded everything from there except the things for cleaning. So Annie you can come here to get your things and it would be nice if you come on Saturday or Sunday when Alden is here as he has been teaching a lot. Marianna played the piano and we had a great time, when Alden came to pick me up they gave us a tour of their house and they have a beautiful view to the back. We got home about 9:30. 

Too many changes

Last night I had a very pain full night, not much sleep so I slept most of the afternoon today. Alden did not teach today as he was waiting for a delivery to come. I folded the things from the wash. Alden was the chef tonight, as they take turns cooking the evening meal. Breakfast and lunch we each do our own thing as everyone is on their own schedule. 

 

I missed a day

Yes it is hard to get use to different things so I missed again. Every one went to work. I went through my files as things got mixed up in the move. I had some time with Socks, the kitty which is about 13 years old and has diabetes, he gets a shot of insulin morning and night. Paige takes care of him and the two dogs. She makes evening meal for us. Tonight it was burritos.  We are still unpacking boxes. Yesterday Uncle Jim fell again and he is in the hospital he had a head injury. Keep praying for all things. My room.

Keeping busy

 Breakfast was cold cereal. Get my room under control. Check blogs and email. Alden did not teach today as the garage door needed repair. Alden worked all day trying to get things in order in the garage. Still much more to do. He did several loads of washing and I folded the things and I tried to find places to put things. Last night Hailey cut hair of several people. I will be glad when we get things in order.

Up and running Mar. 6 2022

Hi all of you

Here I am trying to Blog in Elccajon Ca. .Sunday. McKenna just brought my Comp. up. Things are going great but with so many things to do with so many people involved, first Gina and Jeff went to Kansas as Vicky, Gina's mother had a heat attack so we don't know how long they will be there. I will send a e-mail to Annie of some questions.
