Great weather

This morning at 7:30 I applied the medication to my knee as I need to let it take effect before I put any clothes on, and I don't see that it is helping any. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. Alden moped the kitchen and dining room. Andrew and McKenna came then Andrew went to see his family and Paige and McKenna went shopping. Alden was trying to get some of the things in the back yard together and I took a walk in the back to see if I could help. Alden made rice and chicken and ice cream for dinner. Josh was at work today.

 

McKenna came today

After treating my knee with medication I went to the kitchen and McKenna was here. I had cold cereal and coffee for breakfast. Then I cut up more oranges and apples. For lunch McKenna made a green salad for us. Alden got here about 1:30 from school. Then he got a call for me to write a check for 7-Oaks for the escrow. So he went to 7-Oaks to deliver the check.I did my Bible reading and had a peanutbutter sandwich.

 

The project

 This morning at 7:30 I put the medication on my knee, had to let it dry before getting dressed. Then i made my bed and got dressed. Went to the kitchen for cold cereal and coffee. The noise had already started so I took my hear aids off. Alden stayed home today to help with things here. Lunch was a half ham and cheese sandwich. The water was turned off for a while. I did some computer things. Evening meal was burrito and apple sauce. I am showing 2 pictures of the project.

First day of Escrow

Escrow started today at 622,000.00, it is a 12 day escrow, all cash. My breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. Lunch was a toasted cheese sandwich and apple sauce. I was in my room with the door closed so I don't hear the jack hammer. Alden made dinner of potato, chicken and mixed vegetables and ice cream. Alden is doing the last wash for a few days as they have to move the washer and dryer. This evening I went out to see the progress for the sewer line. It is cold tonight.

 

Still working on the Sale

 This morning I had Oatmeal with raisins and coffee for breakfast. Paige was home today. Lunch was a bagel with Phil cream cheese and apple sauce. I had a nice nap today. There were things to go over with the sale of the house. Evening meal was creamed shrimp over spaghetti, green salad and pie.

2nd day for Open House

This morning after my shower and medication on my knee Alden made a waffle for me for breakfast. Today was a day for dinner prepared by Paige for McKenna's Birthday. Hailey and Matt didn't get here until later. I had a nap after Dinner. In the evening I went outside to check things in the yard and have time with Socks. It was a slower day today at 7-Oaks. Maybe tomorrow we will see some results. I didn't know but Alden had told the real estate agent what Lovely said about 6:33 so we will see.

 

Busy, Busy ,Busy

 What a day, I will show a couple pictures. First Alden made waffles for our breakfast. Then he went to the garage to get started before the boys came. Paige defrosted the frig. Alden started the washer and I cut up the oranges and apples. Everyone was on their own to check the frig for lunch. Last picture is living room and every room is the same.

Such a busy family

This morning McKenna was here early to be here when construction men come. With Alden teaching every day he has arranged to have one of the kids here every day. McKenna made scrambled eggs for my breakfast. We had time together until about 10:00 am when I went to my room to do computer things and she did her studying. Lunch was a TV dinner which we shared. Then she left and Matt showed up from his military duty. They are all working on cleaning the garage now as I am typing. We all had In N Out for evening meal. Tomorrow will be a big day here and at 7-Oaks. Pray, Pray, Pray. May be soon we will SKYPE to explain things going on.

 

Hailey here

This morning I emptied the dishwasher then I had oatmeal with raisins and coffee for breakfast. Hailey came and spent the day. I sliced more oranges. We had stir fry left over for lunch and sliced oranges. I had  a afternoon rest as I could not sleep. Hailey did a lot of her things and she took a nap. Then Alden came working on things in the garage. I received my medication. My evening meal was carrots, slice of cheese and lunch meat  and apple sauce.

 

Cooler today

Breakfast was cold cereal and 1/2 banana. I didn't do much today. Alden brought some oranges from school and I cut some up and also apples, they are so good to snack on so I did some for Alden's school lunch. Alden made stir fry with shrimp for dinner. He is still working on things in the garage.

 

A busy day

There was so much in the Garage left from moving and many many boxes just put anywhere in the house today. I could not help much but Hailey and Josh really worked on it and Alden worked on it after teaching all day. They are getting ready to make the Garage into a one bedroom apartment, so oh what a mess everything is. Sure hope we don't get any rain. Also my house in 7 Oaks was listed today and my Real Estate had to chase other realestate away as they were doing some inspection. Pray that everything will go OK. With all the things Alden wanted to play hand and foot with me and I really won BIG receiving all wild cards, Here it is 10:00 pm and we just finished and he went to the Jacuzzi.

Not much today

 Breakfast today was oat meal with raisins and 1/2 banana. Josh is the only one home today. lunch was apple sauce, a piece of cheese and toast. I did some computer things. When I went to the garage to get some green beans and carrots from the frig for my evening meal. Socks wanted to get in the frig. maybe he was hot. He is such a people kitty follows me all over. 

Happy Easter

I guess I am mixed up because I had a bad stomach ack Friday night and I did not sleep so Saturday I slept most of the day and today all of Alden's kids were here, I still am not feeling supper. But better. Alden will be working every day this week. The weather is great about 79 outside.

Dr. appointment

This morning I had oat meal with 1/2 banana and coffee for breakfast. I dusted the floors. Alden came from school to take me to my 3:30 pm appointment at SCRIPPS in Santee. This is the first time a Dr. really examined me  It seems like where my pain is caused is my left hip arthritis. So at my age it is not good to have a hip replacement.  I see I didn't post this Blog. Sorry here goes as a late Blog.

Family get together

I got up at 8:30 am and had a shower went for breakfast at 10:00 am Alden, Paige and Josh were all gone to work and Gina was not up jet. I had oat meal with raisins and 1/2 banana. I checked emails and blogs. Gina started to do baking, I had 1/2 apple for lunch. The evening was spent with family as Gina leave tomorrow for Kansas and celebrating Savannah's Birthday. She is Josh's girl friend.

Went to Walmart

 What a great day. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. I went out to the front of the house t get the fresh air. .Gina took a picture of me in front with the Easter Rabbit. We went to Walmart, had a hard time to find a  park. I needed a few things and Gina needed some things to make pumpkin bread which we had tonight. Alden and Paige took all the things for Am Vet to the curb to be picked up tomorrow, wow so much. Evening meal was left overs.

Nice day but chilly

 Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. Gina and I sat out in the front yard and fresh air. Lunch was left overs  Gina and I played hand and foot and Gina was the winner. I put some of the pictures which I painted in the gold frames. Walking around in the yard but it was windy. Gina  made baked potato,  baked chicken, Brussel sprouts and toasted rolls for dinner. Then we had ice cream. 

Shadow Mountain Church

Up this morning with oat meal and banana & coffee for breakfast. Gina and I played hand and foot, it was a close game but I won. We had spaghetti for evening meal. Next was off to Shadow Mountain Church to watch Andrew play basketball and his team won, a very close game. What a busy church and just a couple miles from here. I only got one picture of Andrew, but it was so fun and it was sprinkling on our way home. Sorry about the picture.

 

Church at home

 This morning Alden made scrambled eggs and coffee for me. We did some more sorting as the Am Vet will be coming Thursday to pick up. We still have the area for Annie and also we found a picture which I painted and Alden said I need to save it. Alden and Gina went to see McKenna and Andrew at the same place where we went yesterday. The weather sure turned cooler today.

Time away

 Well it was not so hot today. We all went to celebrate McKenna's graduation at the home where McKenna and Andrew are house sitting, they seem to get these jobs quite often, they take care of dogs also. Alden and I only stayed about three hours, there were lots of steps but I made it with Alden and Matt's help. I hope I don't get a cramp tonight. So look forward of pictures from Gina.

It's hot today over 100 degrees

Inside it was 80 but Gina reset it and now it is actually cold.so Alden is checking it.  Last night we went to McKenna's graduation it was great. Today I checked in for my new doctor appointment which will be next Friday. They have record of all my medical things. Last night I had cramps with my right leg I guess it was because I did quite a bit of walking, so I just ate a banana may that will help.

Relaxing day

 This morning was cold cereal with banana and coffee for breakfast. Annie called and Alden is taking over for me as he is great at making decisions. So now I will just sit back and shake my head.  Annie gave hime some pointers of how to select someone. Alden made dinner tonight, it was spaghetti, green salad and toasted rolls. We had a SKYPE with Alan. It was hot today but will be hotter tomorrow but it was 73 in the house. Keep praying for this sale. Alden is leaving to pick up Gina from the air port.

Time checking for sale

 Up this morning and collecting things to be washed. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee. Alden went to CostCo. I checked the paperwork of my Escrow and checking on things that may come up in the sale. Alden got my washing done and I got it folded and put away. Evening meal was Alden's turn and he made shrimp with pineapple and rice, it was so good. Alden goes back to teach the rest of the week.

Not much today

 I was up ay 8:00 am and breakfast was oatmeal which I made in the microwave and I had a mess, I will try a different way next time. Had a basket of clothes to fold. Alden went up to 7-Oaks again to finish the painting. He hasn't returned yet. I did Bible reading and I made a soup with potatoes, carrots and ground beef for our evening meal. It was Josh's day off so he was out in the big shed most of the day.

Where is Alan?

I was waiting for Alan to SKYPE tonight. This morning I had a slice of sweet roll with my coffee. I viewed three sermons. Hailey and Matt came over and we had lasagna and toasted rolls while playing hand and foot. Alden and Matt were the winners. But that is OK it was fun.

 

No sun today

This morning I was up at 7:00 am and went back to bed until 9:00 am, I guess that is my schedule now as I don't go to bed at night until about 11:00 pm. Breakfast was oat meal with raisins. Alden was working on one of the cars this morning, I made our lunch and Alden went up to 7-oaks and got the paint to touch-up but he thinks he might have to do more than touch-up. He talked to Tom Belgard our neighbor as he was on the board last year and he didn't think there was any problem with those issues. If more is needed Elite is the place to check. Well it looks like Alden will have to make another trip up there. He will be back to School next week. It seems like he is busy every minute and I am trying to help as much as I can.

 

Alone for the afternoon

This morning I was in the kitchen at about ten min. to 9:00 am I had cold cereal and coffee for breakfast.  Then I went to check my first of the month things and there was no internet so later on I shut down the computer and when it came up everything was on line. Alden had things to do outside until noon so I made our lunch and he left at noon to golf with Matt. I had a short time in the garage with Socks and paid bills and reading. Then a short nap. My evening meal was a green salad and rice. Then Paige said "Grandma I think you have a call on SKYPE and it was Alan and soon Alden came to join us.
