My 90th Birthday Trip!

What a great 90th birthday with 12 members of my family and numerous new friends. The celebration started with a cruise around the East Coast and Canada and ended with a whirlwind tour of Washington D.C. Thanks to everyone who made this so special. I thank God for such a great celebration. Every one treated me so special. The highlight of the cruise was at our first port, Boston, where the clock chimed "What a friend we have in Jesus" and that night for dinner on the ship, everyone feasted on two lobsters per person. I was able to get a tour at the White House with Abby as my guide, thanks to Hugo and his wife, Liza. They also showered me with a cupcake surprise and Trump souvenirs. They hosted us and I also want to thank Agnes and Brian, who hosted us at their house and shared with us their love and hospitality. It truly was an unforgettable trip...

Packing

This morning for breakfast we had waffles with blueberries topped with whipped cream. I did the washing and packed my suitcase ready for the cruise. We did not feel the earthquake here.

Time flies

A week from today we will be on the cruise more fun. This morning for breakfast I fixed waffles with blueberries and whipped cream. For lunch we had Marie Callenders chicken pot pies. Patty came to pick up my ceramic flag for the library display. We went to play hand and foot and Rosalie and I started the game so great that Ethel and Mary gave up and we went home to watch the Washington D.C. fourth of July celebration.

Monday

This morning I made scrambled eggs with veges for breakfast.  I went to play cards and Ethel stayed home to wait for the care takers to trim the bushes, well they didn't come. They are scheduled to come some time this week so we are trying to stick around to see that they do the job. I called Debby and told her that Alan printed all the papers for the cruise. I also left a message on Alden's cell that everything is set for the cruse.
