Sunday Church day

After a shower breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Checking things in my room. Viewed three church services. Lunch was fish tacos and two fig cookies.  Bible reading and prayer time. Alden called to check in on me. He is real busy working on the outside wall where the water leak was and trying to get parts to install the dishwasher. They have not found a house yet and keep praying for this. He is still teaching every school day. Snack time was tapioca pudding and evening meal was taquitos. Not much on TV and I viewed some of the House of Praise.

A Foggy morning

 It almost looked like it had rained. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Doing the same as usual. Check Blogs and emails. Morning was spent Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was Broccoli and cream of mushroom soup and I added some chicken pieces, also two fig cookies. Snack time was tapioca pudding.. Nap time and computer games. Evening meal was the left over soup. Weather report says next will be in the low 70"s for all week. For some reason we are not getting Lawrence Welk on Saturdays.

 

Beautiful day

Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Check Blogs abd emails. Some computer games. Lunch was Lasagna and broccoli. Ethel made tapioca pudding. which was our afternoon snack. I had a afternoon nap and computer games. Evening meal was peanutbutter  sandwich and raisin and prune sauce. News time and game shows.

 

A warm day

Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Check out computer things. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was left over lasagna. and a fig cookie. Games on computer and relaxing. Snack time was chocolate pudding with whipped cream. Evening meal was green salad. News and game shows.

 

Weather is great

Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Checking computer things. Gina came at 12:00 noon with groceries. Our lunch was Costco lasagna from the freezer and green salad. Gina and I went to the dentist office to get the X-ray but they were closed. Marianna  came at 2:00 pm to play hand and foot. Gina and I won by only 30 points, what a close game. We had ice cream cones. Marianna and Ginn left shortly after. No evening meal after eating the ice cream. Then it was news and game shows.

 

SKYPED with Alan

This morning it was some warmer. Breakfast was Oat meal with raisins and banana. Checking computer things. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was meat balls, mashed potato and beans. I sent my grocery list to Gina, she will go to Wal-Mart before she comes tomorrow. Snack time was chocolate pudding. Had a nap. Evening meal was Taquitos and dip. Next was news and game shows. I had a great time talking to Alan on SKYPE.

Some rain

Up this morning at 6:00 am to start the washing. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. I finished the washing and changed my bedding by 10:00 am. I did some computer things and pay bills. I made the chocolate pudding. Lunch was left over from the Mexican food from Alden's.. Snack time was chocolate pudding. Our neighbor, Tom came to inform us that someone stole his catalytic convertor and for us to try starting my car, well it is OK.I thank God. We received some rain. Evening meal was meat balls, mashed potato and beans. Then it was news and game shows

Time with Alden's

Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Viewed three sermons on the TV. Alden came and picked me up at 12:00 noon. We stopped off for donuts. Alden picked up Mexican food for lunch. We watched football and Josh was home and telling me what he does on his job. Paige was home also. Latter on Hailey and Matt. came and then McKenna came but Andrew had to work. We played Hand and Foot. Then we had pizza. Alden brought me home and we got here at 8:15 pm.

Better sleep last night

I was out of the new pain medication for about 5 days and now I have the medication and I think that is why I had a better sleep I only had to go to my recliner one time for about one hour. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was left over hot dish. Computer puzzles and games. Snack time was chocolate bark. Evening meal was fish, mashed potato and beans. Still no Lawrence Welk on TV.

 

Thanks to Gina

 Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins and banana. Checking computer things. Gina came to take me to the dentist, this is the last dentist until cleaning time. Then Gina got milk, bananas and broccoli from Albertsons. We got home and had the Burrito hot dish which I put together yesterday. We played Hand & Foot and I was the winner. Then we had ice cream cones. Gina left to beat the evening traffic. Viewed news and game shows.

A slow day

 Temp. was 43 outside and 69 inside. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Checking the Blogs and emails. Relax for a short time, update things on the computer.. Lunch was fish, mashed potatoes and beans. I made a hotdish of burritos and broccoli and cream of mushroom soup, milk and cheese, this is for tomorrow. Snack time was lemon pudding with whipped cream. Evening meal was Chicken Taquitos with cheese dip. Yes and I had to fix my computer again. This time to jut shut down didn't work but I got it fixed. THANK GOD  Next was news and game shows.

 

A great day

 I finally set the temp. for night at a good temp. Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Gina came at 12:00 noon we unloaded the groceries. Went to Denny's for lunch. Ethel and I shared the chicken dinner, I had the zucchini for the side. Gina informed us that Ant Jean and Uncle Jim will be taking over the house and living downstairs as their health is not so good so Alden's have to move so they are looking for a house with a granny in back as all the kids will be joining them it will be in the name of McKenna & Andrew/Alden & Gina. They are looking in the East County. Then we went to Albertsons for bananas and my prescription. At 2:00  pm Marianna came and we played hand and foot. Marianna and Ethel really whipped Gina and I. We had ice cream cones.  Gina left at about 5:30 m.

Colder weather

 Had to have heater on all day but the heater doesn't seem to run much we have it set at 70 degrees. They say using the gas for heat is going to go sky high this year but we need to be comfortable so we don't catch a cold. I made cream of wheat for breakfast as it is good to have something hot in the morning had banana also. That coffee Lovely sent is strong so I get at least four cups from one envelope of coffee but I am glad it doesn't have sugar. Lunch was meat balls, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Snack time was lemon pudding. Evening meal was toast and scrambled eggs. Next was news and game shows.

Had a sprinkle today

 It was warmer this morning as it was overcast most of the day so we had a sprinkle. Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins and banana. I sewed some velcro on my pillow cases and I had to use a thimble to go one way and plyers to pull the needle through, what a job. These are feather pillows which were KING size and while in CV I down sized them to regular size and I had feathers flying all over in the garage, Yes I did end up in trouble. Lunch was fish and mixed vegetables. Snack time was lemon pudding. Evening meal was poached eggs on toast.

A Great Sunday

Breakfast was cold cereal and banana. Tidy up my room and check Blogs and emails. Viewed three messages on the TV. Lunch was sweet potato, fish sticks and mixed vegetables. Bible reading and prayer time. My snack time was a protein drink which Alden gave me. Computer games and emails. Evening meal was cottage cheese and toast, I tried a few slices of apple but no that is not good for me yet. There is not much on TV.

 

I guess it's time to go to bed

Yes while watching TV I really went to SLEEP. so I hope I sleep tonight. This morning as Alden stayed over night to see that I was OK. So I made cream of wheat for him and I for breakfast and a banana. He left at 9:00 am to pick up donuts for their family get together at noon. This is the first time in quite a while as everyone has different work scheduales.  I worked cleaning up my desk. All day I tried to take a nap but was unable to. Lunch was left over mushroom soup and a egg. Snack time was chocolate pudding evening meal was grilled cheese sandwich. No Lawrence Welk again.

 

Not much today

Up at 6:00 am Temp. outside was 44 and inside was 68. Breakfast was cream of wheat with banana. Off to my room to check Blogs and email. Then make my bed and relax in my recliner. Lunch was the mixed vegies. Afternoon was Bible reading and prayer time. OH yes I received the package from Lovely so now I will enjoy my coffee for breakfast. This morning I made the chocolate pudding which we had for snack time. Evening meal was cottage cheese and peaches. Next was news and game shows with enjoying hot cholate with marshmallows which Ethel made.

Afternoon spent with Marianna

 This morning it was 41 outside and 64 inside. Breakfast was cream of wheat and banana. Relax in my recliner a short time. Check email and blogs and organize my room and reading time. Dentist office called that my crown is in so I have an appointment for Friday at 12:30 so Genia will come to go with me as Alden is teaching every day this month. Lunch was salmon, peas, mashed potato & gravy left from KFC. Afternoon snack was lemon pudding. Marianna came to play cards and visit. Evening meal was cottage cheese with peaches. News and game shows. Sorry my days are not very exciting.

Not much today

 This morning it was 49 outside and 68 inside. We don't use the heater at night. Breakfast was cream of wheat and banana. A few minutes in my recliner then make my bed and check blogs and emails. Lunch was fish, broccoli, mashed potato and gravy. Afternoon was reading and snack time was lemon pudding. I left a message for the dentist office to call me. Evening meal was cottage cheese and peaches and two fig cookies. News and game shows.

Wash day

Yes I got up early to wash but I did not want to go out when it was still dark. So I went to my recliner until it got light. Weather outside was 51 deg.  Breakfast was cold cereal and banana.  When I made my bed I added another blanket.  Lunch was left over KFC and broccoli. I made lemon pudding for afternoon snack. Afternoon was reading and computer games. I still have not heard from the dentist for my crown. now Alden is teaching every day it will be Genia who will go to the dentist with me. Evening meal was taquitos. Then it was news and game shows.

A great day

 Still cool at night. A shower then hot cereal for breakfast. We viewed three messages. Alden and Gina arrived about 11:30 they brought our groceries and KFC for lunch. Then we played Hand & Foot. Alden cleaned the furnace filter and went to my recliner while Gina and I checked my computer. The first thing Gina did was shut down my computer and brought it up. Guess what it worked great as before. I was so thankful. Then they went home about 3:30 pm. We had left over KFC for evening meal. Then Albert called and he has been working a lot and is doing great. Albert has not gotten the shot but is tested every week same as Alden no shot but tested every week. This was from Alden & Gina.

Nights cooler

Yes today I turned the heater on for about 15 minutes to get the inside a little warmer. Breakfast was a mixture of cream of wheat and oat meal, just to empty the containers. I checked the blogs and went to my recliner. Alden called and he and Gina will come tomorrow at 11:00 am and bring lunch and our groceries. Lunch was the mixed vegies which Ethel made yesterday. I finished the chocolate pudding. I had my Bible study and prayer time. Evening meal was soup.

 

Cooler weather

 Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins. I was up at 6:00 am  this morning. So after breakfast I went to my recliner and I went to sleep until 9:30 am. Then I organized my room and checked email. Then it was Bible reading and prayer time. For lunch Ethel made a big pot of mixed vegetables and pasta and meat balls.so we have left overs for a while. That is great as it is getting harder to do cooking. Alden will receive his dishwasher and clothes dryer tomorrow so he has to connect them. I am hoping that Alden and Gina will be able to come Sunday to get groceries and maybe help me with my computer. Evening meal was more of the dish Ethel made.

 

Maybe Annie needs to fix it

Well still not solved. Breakfast was cold cereal. I have been getting up about 7:30 in the mornings, not 6:00 am anymore. Today was spent reading and computer games and a nap here and there. Lunch was fish, broccoli and sweet potato. Afternoon snack was chocolate pudding with whipped cream. Evening meal was soup and crackers and fig cookie. then it was news and game shows.

Computer problem

 Everything went from Google to Edge and I still have not fixed it. I guess I need help. Breakfast was cream of wheat. Work on problem. Lunch was taquitos. work on problem, short nap, Marianna came to play cards. Evening meal was cheese, crackers and peanutbutter. News and game shows. I hope this works as I am doing it under EDGE.

 

Great weather

My breakfast was cream of wheat. I went to my room to check my computer emails and blogs. Of course always making my bed then to relax in my recliner. Bible reading and prayer time for world affairs and our country. Lunch was fish, baked potato and broccoli. Afternoon nap. Playing computer games. Evening meal was soup and crackers and two fig cookies. News and game shows.

  

Rain today

Breakfast was waffle with blueberries and whipped cream. Checking email and blogs. Alden's came back last night about 10:30 pm and picked up some at 11:00pm from the airport and he went to work today. I haven't talked to him but he is so busy I don't want to bother him. Today we got rain several times. I was updating the OPM accounts. Lunch was soup and evening meal was scrambled eggs. Then there was news and game shows. I hope to see you from Taiwan at my door step. Keep safe.

 

This is Sunday

Last night was the first I did not have to go to my recliner to relieve the pain. Breakfast was cold cereal. At 10:00 am I viewed David Jeremiah but could not find Jack Graham and Robert Jeffress. We had chicken pot pies for lunch. Finish reading the Decision. Snack time was to finish the green Jello. More reading and nap and computer games. Evening meal was poached egg on toast.

 

It was 52 this morning

Yes cool in morning but up to 92 today. Breakfast was oatmeal, I did not  turn on the light and put the oatmeal in the microwave and I don't know what I pressed and it went crazy then I saw "press remember" O what a relief. From now on turn the light on. Lunch was the chicken hot dish.so good. Afternoon was reading the Decision and a few games on the computer. Evening meal was soup and crackers and fig cookies.

 

Wow down to 51 this morning

 Yes it is getting cool at night. Next week I will put another blanket on my bed. Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins. I called Ben and he was very happy when I told him Alan was glad he could hear me well on SKYPE. And he is not accepting any more pay. I made a hot dish with chicken bake for lunch. Bible reading and prayer time. Evening meal was green jello and fig cookies. News and game shows.
