Some rain and my sleep was fairly good. Breakfast was oatmeal with rasins, banana and coffee. The family are all here this evening. My lunch was chicken noodle soup with crackers. I had a nap, reading and prayer time. Was nice to have SKYPE time with Alan yesterday. Looking forward to a good year 2023.
Last night I had some pain but I am trying to do my medication right. I took a Acetaminophen and went to my recliner at 4:30am my breakfast was cream of wheat with rasins and coffee. After Alden put my socks on we spent time to see about closing my CostCo act. as I have a large rebate due that I don't want to lose. Then we went to CostCo to check it and we still haven't got a good answer. This evening we played cards again. Matt and Hailey won over Alden and I.
This morning I was up at 6:30 am. The night was fairly good, but I did have some pain. I am trying to get everything adjusted with the medication. Alden made egg with vegies for breakfast. Then he put my socks on. I went to my room to check my email. The annuities were already posted for the New Year with a raise of $260.58 per month and a social security raise of $1.00. Does that make any sense? I thank God for all things. I am looking forward to have time with Alan. I hope he will be able to fix my computer so I can use the printer. Now I will do some of my computer games. So Good Night.
Best night sleep for months with a combination of Hydrocodone and acetaminophen. I felt rested up this morning. Breakfast was oatmeal with rasins and banana. I did some things in my room. Lunch was leftoves from yesterday lunch at Jimmy's. Alden, Gina and I played hand and foot. I checked computer things. Evening meal was chicken noodle soup and a piece of the wedding cake.
Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and hot tea. his is a sick house. Alden, Paige, Josh and me. I have been coughing and diarrhea. I hope to sleep tonight. We exchanged gifts and Gina and I won against Matt and Hailey in hand and foot. I am going to bed.
Up at 8:30am seemed to have more sleep between pain last night. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. People were already fixing things for the evening meal which was Gina's red chili and McKenna's white chili, both were very good. We left at 2:30pm to go to the FootHill church Christmas Eve service, it was a great service. When we came home they prepared the evening meal. Matt's mom and dad will be leaving early in the morning to go home to Philadelphia. We will be exchanging gifts Christmas morning.
It was 11:45pm when we arrived home from the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and so many people which I have not seen lately. Thanks for Annie and Karl to help me. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. Getting things ready for people to come here after the rehearsal for pizza and salad in the back yard. I was surprised to see Candace from Hawaii at the rehearsal. Then Debby and her husband came. I didn't stay in the back yard very long as it was cold.
Up at 7:30am I could sleep better last night but still had pain several times last night and I had to get out of bed. I went to the kitchen and Alden had made pancakes for breakfast. Alden was busy getting things together for the wedding. My day was spent reading, computer things and nap time. Evening meal was grilled cheese sandwich and soup.
Up and dressed at 6:00am as I had a bad night of pain. Then I went to my recliner and slept until 8:30am. The most sleep of all night. I took my pain medicine at 9:00am and went to the kitchen and McKenna and Andrew were sleeping in the family room, then Alden made scrambled eggs with vegies and cheese and toast with jelly and coffee for McKenna and me. Then we went over my pain things with McKenna. The last two nights I keep track of times during the night that I have to get out of bed from pain I will do that. I am trying to think of good things to distract me from the pain.

Up early and time in my recliner. Went to the kitchen at 9:45am and Alden was making a waffle with blueberries, syrup and whipped cream for me. O so good. Annie called so Alden called her and she ordered the medicine, Alden picked it up, so I just took the first pill tonight. Gina, Alden and I played hand and foot, I kept getting all the good cards and I was so far ahead that we didn't even check the final score, what a game.
Up early as I went to bed early last night as I was tired. After getting dressed this morning I went to my recliner to rest then I got my room in order at about 9:30am. I went to the kitchen for breakfast which was cream of wheat with Rasins and coffee. Lunch was a cup of noodles. Afternoon was playing hand and foot with different people as they were taking turns. Alden and Matt changed the toilet to a higher one in my bathroom so now I don't need the riser on it and it makes it easier for me to dress in the bathroom. There is so much going on this month.

Matt got his orders and it looks like he will be out of the Navy the first of Jan. 2023 he did 5 years in the Navy. Alden's family will all go up to Lake Arrowhead for five days Jan. 11 2023 and Alan will be here with me. Then Hailey and Matt will be moving back east and McKenna and Andrew will move in the unit here.

This evening Josh and Alden made a fire in the fireplace and ordered pizza and watched the Sunday night game with Chargers and Delpha's I watched some then I went to my room and played my computer games. This morning after all things Alden had me soak my feet so he could trim my toenails. He is a great doctor for me. I received the paper of my S.S. payment for next year which is $1.00 a month raise. That is the first raise I have received for about 10 years. Today I started to read the Dec. Decision & I also had a nap.
When I got up it was 36 degrees outside. I did my morning things in my room then I went to the kitchen for breakfast of cold cereal, banana and coffee. Alden put my socks on. I did Bible reading and prayer time. Lunch was a sandwich and grapes. I had a nap and paid my Visa but I could not print it out so Alden has been trying to fix it but has no luck so I told him to leave it until the Alan the computer man comes. As I will not use it until then.
Up at 5:00am with tep. outside at 37 deg. but last night when McKenna left there was ice on the cars. Another night waking up every two hours with pain. I made a appt. with the Dr. for Dec. 27. I hope to get some pain medication. Lunch was a boiled egg a slice of cheese and salami and hot water. I helped Hailey to make wreaths with pine cones from our trees and miniature lights. Alden and Matt were busy doing the lights outside. They are not finished and it looks like we are the only house on our street with Christmas lights. When finished I will post a picture. Even Braylinn was out in her stroller to watch, she really likes it outside. Hailey, Gina and I played hand and foot.

Evening meal was pulled pork, rice, jams and broccoli. We played hand and foot. Alden and I were the winners against Hailey and Matt. Today is Dad and My 65th anniversary.
Still dealing with night pain. Up early and I checked the weather about 5:30am and it was raining. I got dressed and rested in my recliner. I did all things in my room then went to the kitchen for breakfast which was a piece of waffle and coffee. I did some research of what to do for arthurites. They suggest drinking Green tea and other things which I made a outline of. Then I tried to print the outline and my printer is not working and I can't put my pictures on the computer so I am having a bad day. I know Alden will help me. No answer from the Dr. either. I think I have to make a appointment for any new medication.
Today has been a busy day around here. They have boxes full of decorations, some from me and I don't know who else. I will wait until tomorrow to send pictures. I sent a email to the Dr. for the pain medicine so I will have to see what he says, I had to go through security to send email quite complicated for me, but I think I did it.
Late and Playing cards until 11:15pm Alden, Hailey and myself. It was late because Haily had to care for Braelynn between times also as she was very fussy. I was the winner. Good Night
Same early news from BEA. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. Alden was working in the back yard, and he came to see me in my room about 11:30am. Lunch was pea soup. I had an afternoon nap. I talked to Annie, she gave me a few tips to help with night pain and she recommended a pain medication to see if my doctor would prescribe it. Evening meal was a burrito. I have been using a warmed bean bag on my knee. I can't find my heating pad, maybe I gave it away. They went and got the Christmas tree this evening.
Up early as usual, after my shower I get my room in order. Time in my recliner then to the kitchen for breakfast. Which was hot oatmeal with raisins, banana and coffee. My days are about the same. Lunch was pea soup. Afternoon was spent Bible reading, prayer time and nap time. I am glad I don't have the cough but still up several times at night with the pain. This evening Gina and I were against Hailey and Matt playing hand and foot. They were the winners. I had a small amount of ice cream.

Up early and organized things in my room. I made cream of wheat with raisins, banana and hot apple cyder for breakfast. I went out to the backyard for a while. It was nice sitting in the sun out there. Last night I couldn't put my pictures on the computer so I had to shut it down. It still did odd things this morning so I shut it down again and finally it behaved it's self. So now I will post the picture of my little Christmas tree which I bought yesterday. McKenna, Gina and I went shopping at Wal-Mart then we went next door to Denny's for dinner. I purchased a 2 foot Christmas tree for my room but I am having a problem to put the picture on my computer. Then McKenna, Alden, Gina and I played hand and foot.
Up this early this morning. One thing I started to do is microwave a bean bag for 30 seconds and hold it on my left knee makes the pain go away. This morning I got up early again as too much pain. I went to my recliner for an hour. I went to the kitchen and Andrew was there after working. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. I changed my bedding to add to my two-week laundry and set out for wash. I did my 4-week daily medication. Lunch time I was looking for the left overs and I guess they were in the out door frig. so I made poached egg on toast. Alden hung my gray valance. Evening meal was left overs which were brought in from the outdoor frig. and were so good.
Up at 8:00am and get things done in my room and a few minutes in my recliner. Breakfast was cream of wheat with raisins, banana and coffee. Check things on computer. Lunch was crackers, cheese and grapes. Alden and I played Rummy-Q haven't played that for a long time and it makes us think !!!!!!. Evening meal was a hotdog.
This morning I was up at 8:00am and to the kitchen at 9:00. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and coffee. I went back to my room to check the computer. Alden fixed the computer so now I can print things that I have on the computer. There was a lot of backlogs on the computer as it has been almost a month. I set up my three Christmas things which I saved also did reading and I had a short nap. We played hand and foot and Hailey and Alden were the winners over Gina and I. Alden made some noodles with left over chicken and it was good for lunch and dinner. I checked for pictures of Big Bear with the church group before Al and I were married, they are on pictures which I scanned.
Nice to be home again. Breakfast was hot oatmeal with raisins and banana & coffee. We got things back in order as things were put in my room while we were gone. Alden fixed my computer so I can copy things from the computer which I was unable to since the patio door installation. He also installed a wand for my patio curtain. Lunch was a corn tortilla with cheese and a small leftover piece of chicken and two cookies. Evening meal was a piece of a burrito. I have been doing computer games, puzzles and reading.
We had a good trip going up about 3 1/2 hours because of accident. coming back about 2 hours. The house was great, my room down and two bedrooms up, weather was cold but sunshine. Don't expect a Blog for a few days as Alden, Gina and I are leaving Friday to go to BIG BEAR for the weekend. The girls and friends will be occupying this house for the weekend. Dennis has a house at Big Bear where we will be staying. I am glad that I feel quite well.
Yes feeling better but still need more healing. Up this morning and relax in my room until 9:30am. When I went to the kitchen Alden made me scrambled eggs with vegies and cheese. He also made me water with lemon and honey. I took my laundry to be washed and it was returned this afternoon. My lunch was a "cup of noodles". Alden made dinner which was pulled pork, brussels sprouts, rice and a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. This evening I started to cough again.
Up at 7:30am and doing early morning things in my room, then rested until 10:00am and go to the kitchen for breakfast which Alden made cream of wheat and banana for me and a drink of warm water with honey and lemon. He made that in my R.B. Church thumris so it stays warm while I am in my room. Lunch was a portion of a burrito. I did rest a lot today. Evening meal was chicken and rice soup. Nice to have McKenna here for the evening.
