Last of April

A painful night up at 4:00 am to take pain pills. Had cold cereal with 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange for breakfast. I did my daily bible reading and prayer time. For lunch it was chicken pot pie and cookie. We played Hand and Foot, I was the winner. We had yogurt in the outside patio. For evening meal I made a salad with tuna, celery, onion and eggs. Then it was News and game shows.

A slow day

This morning for breakfast was cold cereal, 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange. For lunch we had the chicken hot dish. Afternoon was reading and computer things. Afternoon snack was green jello. Evening meal was egg on toast and spam. Then there was news and game shows. Evening snack was yogurt.

I made oat meal, one half banana and one half orange for breakfast. I did reading and care for my eye. For lunch I made the chicken casserole. Our afternoon snack was green jello. I did some improvements of some masks. We played four games of Hand and Foot, I was the winner. Evening meal was soup and crackers. The masks are not very comfortable to wear with hearing aids and glasses.

Another Day

What a great day even we have to stay home. Breakfast was orange juice, raisin bran and half banana. I made the Green jello and Ethel delivered some to Gale and Charles.I only put the warm towel on my eye once and two times the medication. Lunch was chicken, baked potato and carrots and doughnut..I received a kitty mask from Ida. Rosalee called and she will deliver a mask that she made tomorrow. We played three games of Hand and Foot and Ethel won by 1,220 points. Evening meal was soup.

Beautiful Sunday

For breakfast we had cold cereal, 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange. Doing my eye treatment four times today. At 10:00 am we viewed Truning Point by David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley. Our lunch was left over hamburger and french fries and 1/2 doughnut.  Afternoon was spent working on the puzzle which we finished at 6:30 pm. Evening meal was grilled cheese sandwich and yogurt with blueberries.

A GREAT DAY

Still a warm day. Ethel did the washing and I made eggs over easy on toast with spam for breakfast. Alden came about 10:00 am with our groceries. We played Hand and Foot until noon then Alden and I went to In and Out to pick up lunch, the line was so long so we drove over to Carl's Jr. to get lunch and we picked up donuts also. Then we came home and had our lunch and Alden and I spent the afternoon working on the puzzle. I think it will be done tomorrow.

Another very warm day

Yes it is very warm we had cold cereal for breakfast, no oranges and bananas and finished the milk. I am still doctoring my eye but at least the white pus is removed. Still working on the puzzle. For lunch we had sweet potato, mixed vegetables, coleslaw and chicken. Ethel moved Hailey's table to the window for Alan's office as long as it is here. I am praying that Alan's will be able to come this summer. Then I made potato soup for evening meal.

A Warm day

Yes today was a warm day. For breakfast I fixed scrambled eggs with spam and a half orange. Doctoring my eye four times today also applying the medicine twice. Working of the puzzle. Lunch was sweet potato, coleslaw, fish sticks and yogurt. Evening meal was pizza. Then there was news and game shows. Mary called today and she is OK but missing playing cards.

Nursing my eye

This morning I made oatmeal with raisins and half a orange for breakfast. Then I used a warm cloth on my eye for ten minutes which I did for four times and apply medication to my eye. Between times I worked on the puzzle. Lunch was left over Panda House. Evening meal was soup and crackers. I e-mailed Alden for our groceries.

Dr. Appointment

That is true. I got up at 6:00 am and took a shower, had breakfast and daily pills. Then waiting for Alden to come to take me to the doctor. For a few weeks I am having like a infection on the lower right eye lid so Sunday it came back and I delayed going to the Dr. with this Virus thing, but yesterday I called to make a appointment for this morning and Alden insisted that he will take me. So He has been here all day. We worked on the puzzle and picked up Panda House food for lunch. Then we had chili for evening meal. It was so nice to have Alden here as this is the first time I have gone anywhere for about four weeks. I had to wear the mask and answer many questions before entering Scripps.

Monday

We had cold cereal with banana and orange. Reading and computer stuff and working on the puzzle. We decided we don't want to do another puzzle as it is too hard on our back. It is better to do puzzles on the internet. For lunch we had chicken pot pie. Our neighbor Gale brought us some bread pudding for our afternoon snack. Here is a picture of the puzzle as of today.

Church at home

We had a waffle with blueberries for breakfast. At 10:00 we watched David Jeremiah, the topic was on the faithfulness of Daniel, God told him that he didn't need to understand everything. Then we viewed "In Touch" and his topic was on "How to Pray". We had Chili and potato salad for lunch. I did reading, worked on the puzzle and I took a nap. Evening meal was peanut butter and jelly sandwich and yogurt.

Rain today

Yes I did the laundry and it rained right after I put the first load in. So it was confusing to do between showers and not track on the carpet folding the clothes in the living room.. Breakfast was cold cereal, banana and orange. Reading between times and working on the puzzle. Lunch was potato salad which I made yesterday and sliced tomatoes and two cookies. Evening meal was pizza with extra toppings and sliced tomato.

Busy Day

Breakfast was cold ceral with banana. I did reading and started to sort puzzle pieces. Well this is the biggest puzzle I have ever seen.  I don't know how many days it will take to finish it. We had left overs for lunch and soup and crackers and yogurt for evening meal.

Not Much Today

Breakfast was Oat meal with raisins and 1/2 banana. Reading and computer stuff. Lunch was Chicken strips, baked potato and Brussels sprouts. Evening meal was a poached egg on toast and two fig cookies. Then there was news and game shows with popcorn.

A warm Day

Today the sun was out early, I made cream of wheat with raisins and one half banana for breakfast. Then there was Bible reading and prayer. For lunch we had fish tacos. Our afternoon snack was yogurt. More reading and then soup with crackers and two fig cookies for evening meal. And yes the game shows are from last year.

A SLOW DAY

This morning we had cold cereal with banana and orange. Then it was Bible reading time and prayer time. I called three of my lady friends. At 11:00 am we watched the local news. At 12:00 we had one half of our Easter meal from Alden's. I took a nap and a few computer games. The evening meal was one half of our Easter meal. Then there was news and game shows.

Great Day With Alden and Gina

This morning we had cold cereal and a orange for breakfast. Then we got everything out of kitchen and dining room and Ethel scrubbed that area, we left the chairs etc for Alden to put back. Alden and Gina got here about 11:30 am. Alden already purchased the Cost-Co things so we put them away and I sent Alden to Panda House to pick up our lunch. Then Alden went to Wal-Mart to finish the groceries. Gina vacuumed the living room. Then the afternoon was spent playing "Hand & Foot" Alden and Ethel were the big winners. Then we had left overs for our evening meal and Alden and Gina left about 7:15 pm.

Easter Sunday

For breakfast I made french toast with blueberries and whipped cream. We viewed David Jeremiah service which was from the Gospel of John and Charles Stanley service was from the book of Mathew. They were both great services. For lunch we had sweet potato, mac. & cheese and meat balls and a slice of cherry pie. The evening meal was grilled cheese sandwich and two Oreo cookies. Alden called to go on SKYPE so we went on SKYPE for about thirty five minutes.

Beautiful Day

Ethel did the washing today. We had cold cereal and orange for breakfast. I did reading and computer stuff. For lunch we had fish tacos. Afternoon snack was cherry pie.  Evening meal was peanutbutter and jelly sandwich and yogurt. We viewed Lawrence Welk show.

Lots of rain

Breakfast was oat meal with raisins and half a orange. I did reading of the Decision magazine. Lunch was chicken strips, mixed vegetables and sweet potatoes and a sweet bread form Gale. We viewed the results of the virus. This afternoon we played Rummy-Q and had a slice of the cherry pie which I made. The rain really poured down. Alden called and he is having water problems that leaked down in the kitchen, so they were busy repairing that.

Just a little rain

For breakfast I made scrambled eggs and toast. I did some reading. Lunch was sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables and fish sticks. This afternoon we played Rummy-Q and I made a cherry pie with tapioca pudding. Evening meal was soup and crackers and tapioca pudding. Guess who has a mask.

Home again

I made cream of wheat with raisins and banana for breakfast. I did reading and computer games. For lunch I fixed small pizzas topped with extras. We watched the movie "Your Bacon Me Crazy". Evening meal was soup and toast and a chocolate mint cookie. There was news and game shows.

More rain

Yes we got more rain but it was a gentle rain. We are still staying home.Same meals. Oat meal  and banana and orange for breakfast, pot pie for lunch and  soup for evening meal. We played several games of Rummy-Q. Reading and computer games.

Some rain

Breakfast was oat meal with banana and orange. Lunch was sweet potato, broccoli and chicken strips. Evening meal was soup and a slice of toast, ome chocolate Oreo cookie. The day was spent reading and games on the computer.

Sunday is Church at Home

For breakfast I made eggs over easy with toast and a half orange. We watched David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley. We had fsh tacs for lnch. Later on a lady from the ceramics delivered a face mask which she made for each of us. I called Totoi Miller and she said she is coming down with a cold she said Sabrina is still living with her and she said she can not go to Bingo now. But she was glad I called her. I am putting the table from Annie and Karl, it is in the sun room. Evening meal was soup and crackers.

missed a day

This is a update of yesterday as It was late after talking to Alan and Alden on skype. I was ready to go to bed as we had a big day. Alden came here yesterday morning and I went over with him the things I wanted him to do. He stopped at "In and Out" for our lunch. We put everything away, then we played some games of "Hand and Foot". Alden took us for a ride to pick up oranges at his house and visit with Gina, Hailey & Paige. Then off to Coronado and back to Mama Cellas to pick up pizza. Then there was recording some movies and instructions from Alden. Then the phone rang and it was Alan to go on skype. Well today we did not do anything special.

Beautiful Day

Breakfast was oatmeal with raisins.  Lunch was red potato, Brussels sprouts and chicken strips. Afternoon snack was rice pudding. evening meal was soup and toast with two cookies. We have a Easter lilly next to the fire place hear is a picture.

A slow day

Breakfast was french toast with blueberries and one of Annie's oranges. We measured the table to see if it will fit in Alden's Toyota and I think it will fit so Alden will pick it up Friday. For lunch we had chow main with rice. Afternoon snack was yogurt. The evening meal was soup and crackers and two fig cookies. We are still staying home. The weather was great in the 70's. Annie took pictures yesterday but I don't see any pictures.
