Beautiful Day

A great day after reading and doing the daily tasks I went to the kitchen and baked a Fruit Cocktail Cake as I wanted to give some to the neighbors and I gave them the recipe for it.  We had a piece of it also this is our favorite cake. I informed my family that I do not wish to go on excursions when we are on our cruise. I can just relax on the ship and get off the ship and walk around when docked. We called Mary and she is going to stay at her daughters for a couple days but she is doing OK.

Prime Time

Today is the last day for Prime Time for this spring. The entertainment today was Singer Rachel. We all had a hard time understanding her.  The food was bar-b-q sandwich, mashed potatoes and a great green salad, with the ice cream with all the toppings for desert. This afternoon we went to cards, there was only Karol, Ethel and myself. Mary called tonight to inform us that she fell and had to go to emergency. She fell at home while exercising. After I hear that it makes me feel like I need to use the cane more often as I don't want to fall.

Another day

Yes today was spent doing reading of "The Decision" and checking the passages of Jesus time and his  miracles . Also passages of salvation.

Busy day

For breakfast I made eggs on toast as we were out of milk. At 9:30 am we went to the 99 cent store to purchase all kinds of greeting cards. Next we went to Joan's to purchase some 7 inch zippers of different colors to match the scarfs. Yes I am making Christmas presents already. Next we went to Wal-Mart to shop. When we arrived home it was noon so we each had a small pizza for lunch. While watching Jeopardy the TV did a ReBoot and we missed part of the show the person is equal to Ken Jennings, his winnings tonight was in the $130,000.

Yes I skipped a day

Today turned out to be a warm day up to 86 today. We did not go to ceramics but we went to the club early and checked in at the ceramics room. There was a table full of items that someone left for us to choose what we would like. I picked up a few things and Ethel picked some things. At 1:00 pm we played cards, there was five of us so we didn't play partners. But we had a good time. Nice group of ladies.

Relaxing

Not much for today, well we did have rain again today. Not much to say for today.

Here I am

We went to Prime Time and it was a style show from the Resale Shop. They put on a great show but I was sorry that we were too far back to get good pictures. It was a great turn out of twelve tables with six people at a table.plus the models which was at least ten., plus two pastors which walked the models to the stage. The food was great and pastor Mofed gave the devotions. The Church has three resale shops on Poway Road. The proceeds goes to Missions. There was a few items for sale from the Thrift Shop. The pastors wife was a model and she gave Ethel a Easter Bag. My purchase was this pendent.
