Prime Time

This morning was warm again and foggy. We had raisin bran for breakfast. We went to Prime Time, the entertainment was Peter Small doing the history of GOLDA MEIR he even had the make beleve cigerate this was a  really great show,  I have seen him do George Washington. The food was enchiladas, rice, salad and Ice cream and cookies for desert. At 2:00 pm we went to the club to play Hand and Foot. Evening meal was left over enchiladas and a cookie from prime time. Then there was the news and game shows.

Foggy this morning

When I got up this morning it was foggy and the temperature was 55. I made cream of wheat with raisins and 1/2 banana. I didn't go any where today. I did my Bible reading and praying. It seems like things are not turning out right. Still no tax bill, I don't want to go anywhere now. Ethel's daughter Corene has lung cancer and brain cancer. But I know God will be with me in these struggles.

A day at home

This morning it is in the 40's again. For breakfast we had corn flakes and 1/2 banana. I did my Bible reading while waiting for Hailey to come to cut my hair. After my hair cut she trimmed Ethel's hair and I put the chicken hot dish in the oven. Hailey had lunch with us. When she left she took my manger scene and the paperwork to recall governor Newsman also I gave her some of my black tops for the girls. For our evening meal we had cream of mushroom soup with crackers. Then it was the news and game shows.

Busy day

This morning it was in the low 40's at 8:00 am I called the Tax Treasurer and she gave me tho amount of my tax bill and she said to wait until next week if I don't receive it I should mail it with my parcel/ bill no. Several other ladies at ceramics said they didn't receive theirs either. We went to ceramics and had lunch then we went to play cards. When we came home I put together a chicken hot dish for tomorrow. I did not do my Bible reading today, but I will catch up.

In the 40's again

Yes this morning it was cool outside again Inside we have the thermostat set at about 66 degrees for the night. We went to church at 8:30 am then to Bob's bible study class from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Then we went home and we had Chicken pot pies for lunch and vegetable stir fry for evening meal. I was going through paperwork to check on property tax and I found out it is due Nov. 1 each year and I still have not received the TAX BILL. So the next thing is to call to see if it was mailed. I did my Bible study and input notes on the computer. I reset all clocks, I sure wish they would leave the time one way.

Wash day

This morning it was 44 degrees outside and 67 inside. I did the washing today. We had corn flakes with 1/2 banana for breakfast. I did my Bible reading from Daniel. For lunch we had a chicken strip and 1/2 egg salad sandwich.. For evening meal I had a baked sweet potato and yogurt with blueberries. Watched Lawrence Welk show and Wheel of Fortune.

Morning temp 39 degrees

Yes it is getting cooler at night. This morning we went to ceramics. We came home and Alden left a message that Hailey got a call to go to work so she was unable to come and cut our hair. I had bible reading and notes entered to the computer. We put up a few Christmas decorations. Today I received a lengthy questionnaire to fill out to the U.S. District Court for Alan M Alagata so I am in the process of filling this out.
