Busy Day

It was hot again today 97 outside but the high inside was 79 and we still didn't use the AC. When I got up I started to put together the chicken hot dish. Then there was cold cereal with 1/2 banana for breakfast. Mary walked down to see the flowered plant. I made the Flan. Lunch was fish sticks, beans and sweet potato. This afternoon I made Col slow for tomorrow. Evening meal was a small pizza.

Another hot day

Yes in the 90's. Breakfast was grape nuts with 1/2 banana. Reading in the morning. For lunch it was Sweet potato, peas and meat balls. Afternoon snack was 1/2 blueberry muffin. Evening meal was grilled cheese and cole slaw. Then there was news and game shows which are mostly re-runs, may be because of the virus.

A hot day

Yes it got in the 90's today. We played hand and foot early today before it got too hot in the sun room. Breakfast was a waffle with blueberries and whipped cream. Lunch was Fish tacos. Bible reading and prayer. I am reading Genesis and reading all the notes shown in my Study Bible so I can't read too long as the notes are small print and then I get dizzy. Afternoon snack was yogurt. Evening meal was cheese and lunch meat sandwich and pickles.

Drive to Medical

Up early and went to get yearly lab tests. Arrive home and have breakfast which was cold cereal, 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange. Checking computer. Bible reading and prayer. Lunch was chicken and finish Panda food. Afternoon snack was yogurt with blueberries. Played a few games of hand and foot. Evening meal was soup and crackers and two cookies. Then there was News and game shows.

Sunday

Here we are at home another Sunday. We had cold cereal, 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange for breakfast. At 10:00 am we viewed Turning Point which was a great message on the prophecy written hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Dr. David Jeremiah is so great at Bible prophecy. Then we viewed In Touch. For lunch we had Panda left overs and afternoon snack was 1/2 chocolate muffin. We played hand and foot and Ethel won. Evening meal was peanut butter and jelly sandwich and yogurt.

Wash day

This morning I started the wash at 8:30 am and finished at about 12:00 noon. Had cold cereal with 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange. We had left over Panda food for lunch. We played three games of hand and foot, I was the winner. I had 1/2 blueberry muffin from Cost-Co. Evening meal was cottage cheese and 1/2 tomato. Watched Lawrence Welk show and game shows.

Time with Alden and Gina

For breakfast we had cold cereal, 1/2 banana and 1/2 orange. Reading and computer stuff. Lunch was pizza and yogurt. Alden and Gina came about 2:00 pm. We put the groceries away and visited, then we played Hand and Foot until 5:15 pm. Gina and I were the winners this time. Gina ordered Panda Express and Alden went to fill my car with gas $15.61 has not had gas since Feb. 14 and today is May 1, so we have been at home a lot. Then Alden picked up the Panda dinner, it was so good. We had ice cream for desert and they left about 7:30 pm. It is always so nice for them to come.
